  • Typically, there is some discovery work to get under the skin of the challenge. Once the need is clear I shape a solution to fit. I push for simplicity, pace, and measurable impact.

    I’m not into cookie cutters or throwing spaghetti at a wall to see what sticks. I’m about bringing you a specific solution for your particular challenge so that you can get a result and move on.

  • I work with clients in Ireland, the U.K. mainland Europe and the U.S. Sometimes in person, sometimes virtually, usually a mix of both.

    I’ve lived and worked internationally and love working across geographies and cultures.

    When I moved back to my native Ireland I purposely chose a location with close proximity to an airport!

  • Discovery is about getting as close as possible to the challenge so that I can zoom back out and shape a solution.

    I may do my own research to support what you already have in-house and I favour a mix of qual and quant.

    For change projects I use Prosci analytics to gauge project health, risk, scale etc. along with discussion with key players to understand the nature of the change and the organisation.

    For culture I may suggest focus groups to dig into your engagement survey findings or 1:1 interviews to deep-dive team dynamics. For team alignment I suggest Mirror Mirror® diagnostics to identify alignment gaps and opportunities.

    In some cases the issues jump out quickly. In others you’ve already done the digging and I just need to validate.

    Sometimes, it’s best to start from a blank page. No pre-conceptions, no biases. Just open the discussion, document and code what surfaces, and see what themes and patterns emerge. Academics call it thematic analysis. I call it Colombo mode. I even use a pencil!

    Prosci for change management

    I’m a certified practioner and an advanced instructor but most importantly I’m a fan. I’ve seen it work across changes of all shapes and sizes and I love how usable the models are.

    I’m such a believer that I became a certified instructor and teach Prosci® programmes in partnership with The People Side of Change.

    Mirror Mirror® for team alignment

    -a structured, data-driven way to identify, measure and address team alignment gaps.

    Insights Discovery® for culture and leader/team effectiveness

    -a high quality, psychometric tool. Insights has so many applications it could rival the Swiss Army Knife.

    It can be used for individual, team, and organisational effectiveness and is hands down the most powerful development tool I’ve ever been gifted.

    I’ve been an accredited practitioner since 2007 and am happy to support clients of the Insights organisation as well as my own.

    Other favourites include the HPO model for culture design and the ICF coaching competencies which help me to empower clients rather than just equipping them with a solution.

  • I have to give you the consultanty answer here and say ‘it depends’.

    To create a package of priced offerings would be to contradict what I believe about cookie cutters.

    Cookie cutters are great when the dough is all the same but when it comes to change, culture, people, and organisations the dough is never the same. Some are more complex and intense than others.

    I charge for my time so the scale or complexity of the job will determine the cost. I’ve had jobs as small as two days and as big as forty. I’m not about squeezing a job so tight that I can’t have an impact and equally I’m not about overstaying my impact or making you dependent on me.

    I have a Nanny McPhee-desire to have an impact and move on, leaving the room a little stronger than I found it.
